Production Building / Norman Family Home
The main production building bearing the Norman Laboratories sign housed the filmmaker’s offices, film processing equipment and projection room where cast and crew viewed dailies. Richard and Gloria Norman and their children lived upstairs. Following Richard Sr.'s death in 1960, Gloria taught dance lessons in the building.

Generator Shed
The generator shed still houses the original 1906 Meitz & Weiss engine and 1910 generator used to power lights, cameras and other film equipment, including a pump for a now-buried pool used to film water scenes.

Wardrobe Cottage
Actors changed costumes in the wardrobe mistress’ cottage. Capt. Richard Norman, Jr., the filmmaker’s son, admits that as a small boy, he often snuck into the cottage to don western costumes and play cowboy with friends. He later lived in this tiny abode with his young wife and several children.

Prop Storage Garage
The prop storage building also still houses several pieces of century-old equipment, including a GE generator and gas motor.
